Look out for Borat’s film in MySpace screening

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) — British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen’s film about Kazakh reporter Borat Sagdiyev will be viewed on MySpace’s international screening series Black Carpet.

Twentieth Century Fox cut a deal with MySpace to screen the movie exclusively for its members in six countries next Wednesday.

The film “Borat” will be released in the United States Nov. 3.

Cohen developed the Borat character — first a Moldovan TV reporter — for BBC’s “Comedy Nation.” Borat appeared regularly on “Da Ali G Show” on British TV.

“We feel this is a unique way for studios to offer unique and compelling content to our audience,” said MySpace Senior Vice President Corporate Development International Colin Digiaro. “It’s sure to get them interested and excited about the content, which will likely get our audience bantering back and forth on the site.”Digg it
